Boys & Girls Club of Greenwich: Clubhouse

The $22 million renovation and expansion of the Boys & Girls Club of Greenwich Clubhouse represents a transformational investment in youth and community. Originally built in 1939, the facility had not undergone a major upgrade in nearly two decades. The design goal was to modernize and expand the Clubhouse to meet the evolving needs of young people while honoring the architectural character of the original building.

The 66,000-square-foot project renovated all existing spaces and added a high school-size gymnasium over the parking lot, maximizing green space on the tight urban site.

Darien Public Schools: Holmes Elementary School

The Holmes Elementary School project revitalizes the historic 1931 facility through a comprehensive renovation and an 8,310-square-foot addition. The expansion introduces a new library, music wing, main entrance, and a two-story classroom addition, creating modern, flexible spaces that support contemporary learning.

Interior upgrades modernize classrooms and building systems, while new roofing and an integrated solar photovoltaic system improve performance and sustainability. Site improvements include expanded parking and access, enhanced stormwater management, and the creation of an outdoor courtyard designed to support learning, play, and community use. Phase 1 was completed in 2025, with Phase 2 scheduled for completion in summer 2026.
