The goal of the Nice-Pak project was to modernize their corporate headquarters and to translate their innovative approach for manufacturing into the built environment by maximizing natural light, highlighting sustainability and health, and seeking ways to marry their brand and mission within their office space. The project scope renovated key spaces in a contemporary, sophisticated way that created a visually compelling and comfortable work environment for Nice-Pak’s employees and visitors.
The messaging we sought to translate begins outside of the main entrance, is introduced fully within the lobby, and is reinforced throughout the office spaces. The biggest impact made by this project is in bringing in natural light and openness to previously enclosed, dark spaces. This is seen most clearly in the lobby, where we created a powerful first impression with an opened atrium, a large green wall, graphic brand messaging, and new lighting, all set against a clean, contemporary finish palette.
The general office space utilized existing office furniture, but updated finishes and created breakout spaces for team collaboration. The corridors extended the opportunity to highlight company history, ethos, and branding through dynamic graphics and art. The executive offices were opened with full-height storefront glass to allow light into shared workstations.
The new breakroom provides a space that encouraged associates to use it with a variety of seating options, available amenities, and healthy food options. The executive board room continues the narrative with its clean, bold design and strong graphic elements.
